Remove-it.org is a site dedicated to ensuring that if you want a program removed from your computer, it's gone. No hassels, just eliminating all traces of the program from your system
I do this for everyone. I was sick of software companies leaving their customers stranded, unable to remove and frequently unable to reinstall the programs
Nothing. Nada. Zip. Free. I didn't make these programs for money. If people find them useful and like them, that makes it worthwhile.
There is no catch. These programs are written by me and only me, and it would be far too ironic if a tool from Remove-it.org put something malicious on your system.
Well, using virtual machines I tally up a list of files installed and registry changes made to the system. And I do this a few times, to make sure I get them all. I put the list together into an engine that I wrote in NSIS and out pops a new removal tool. That's followed by about 4 or 5 days of testing. I run the program repeatedly, to make sure that every single component is removed from the system. If for any reason I think the tool is unstable or would perform the right way, I scrap it and start over.
My name is Scott Lyons. I'm an underemployed software developer currently attending Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. In my spare time I do a lot of pro-bono software and website development.
Only my own.
The only component that could possibly be detected is something called PFCKiller, created by Craig Peacock of BeyondLogic. It's a freely available program that I need to use to terminate certain programs that are running. Feel free take a look here for more information.
Donations are welcome, but never mandatory. If you have anything you want to discuss, anything at all, be sure to use the contact page. It's a simple form, and there's usually a one day turnaround at the most for any issues. I also very much welcome ideas for new tools. As long as some form of installer can be sent or provided to me, I'm more than happy to create a removal tool for it.
